Who Own’s Arbys? And before we go into it, know that our opinion of this falls with “They are a Better Choice in how they Run and Operate with concern for the Public Health. So we commend them overall for lower use of seed oils and Industrial Crud that should not be consumed by Humans looking for Healthy Longevity of Life. So while we are sharing this, you will notice in our “Fast Food Information Central” page the topic of “Who Owns” is solely with this direction only, Arby’s and the others. Because you will find that the other options have horrible human consumption ingredients. So hats off to “Inspire Brands” and their direction. (From Our Point of View).
Arby’s is owned by Inspire Brands. They are as you can probably already assume, a large restaurant holding company. They are based in Georgia. And we will cover it more below, but Inspire Brands also owns chains like Dunkin’, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-In, Jimmy John’s, and Baskin-Robbins.
Note, that Inspire Brands itself is backed and primarily controlled by Roark Capital Group, which is a private equity investment firm. They are focused heavily on restaurant and franchise businesses. (We could do an entire Article on Roark Capital Group as well – though lets’ get back to the focus, and that is our Appeal for what is Behind Arby’s and the Inspire Brands Company).
A little history for us all to Share:
- Arby’s was founded in 1964 by brothers Forrest and Leroy Raffel in Ohio. This is where the name is created from. Not Roast Beef. “Raffel Brothers”. Want more info like this, See “Arbys and Things You May Not Know About Arbys“
- This is a great fact to know (if you are like me). The Wendy’s Company previously owned Arby’s.
- Back ai 2011, Roark Capital acquired a controlling stake in Arby’s. And we know from above that Roark Capital is the backer to Inspire Brands.
- Then, back In 2018, Arby’s acquisition of Buffalo Wild Wings happened, and this then helped launch Inspire Brands as the umbrella company.
Lets now go more into Inspire Brands:

And note this is unsoliticited and out of pure respect from one CEO to another when I see something so well done. Also note that there are not Employees Causing issues in regards to his Pay and theirs. Wonder why?:
